- Horsey Gap & Horsey Beach — One of the best places in Norfolk to see grey seals in their natural habitat. Here you can often spot seals hauled out on the shore or swimming offshore, particularly in the winter pupping season (late October to January) when hundreds gather to give birth. Viewing is best from designated dune platforms and paths with volunteer wardens on hand to guide visitors and ensure the seals’ safety.
